DIY 3D Wooden Animal Building Puzzle

Materials:
– Wooden puzzle pieces (can be found online or at a craft store)
– Sandpaper
– Wood glue
– Paint or stain (optional)
– Brush (if painting or staining)
– Clear varnish (optional)
– Scissors or craft knife
– Ruler
– Pencil
Instructions:
1. Start by sanding the edges of the wooden puzzle pieces to remove any rough spots or splinters.
2. Lay out all the pieces on a flat surface and organize them by shape and size. This will make it easier to assemble the puzzle later on.
3. Begin assembling the puzzle by first creating the base of the animal. This is usually a simple shape like a rectangle or a circle. Use wood glue to attach the pieces together, following the puzzle instructions if they are provided.
4. Once the base is complete, move on to the body of the animal. This will usually be made up of several smaller pieces that fit together like a puzzle. Again, use wood glue to attach the pieces together.
5. Once the body is complete and glued together, attach it to the base of the animal using wood glue. Allow the glue to dry completely before moving on to the next step.
6. Next, create the head of the animal using the same process as the body. Attach it to the body using wood glue and allow it to dry completely.
7. If desired, paint or stain the animal to your liking. This is a great opportunity to get creative and add your own personal touch to the puzzle.
8. Once the paint or stain has dried completely, apply a coat of clear varnish to protect the wood and give it a glossy finish.
9. Finally, use a craft knife or scissors to carefully cut out any additional pieces like ears, tails, or legs. Attach them to the animal using wood glue and allow them to dry completely.
